For the MEDEWRKN project I worked on a communication plan that had an overview of all relevant channels to our target audiences. One of these channels is the Prikkel – a colourful neighbourhood magazine that reports on all events that happen within the Doornakkers/ Eindhoven Area. Due to the pandemic the amount of events have gone down, so the editorial team had some extra space for the upcoming issue. This was the perfect opportunity to present the MEDEWRKN and Uit de Buurtfabriek. Our proposal to the editor was accepted and thus I could dust off my writer-skills again.
I wrote articles before, about excursions and design theory in schoolmagazines. It is something I enjoy doing, even though I am a bit dyslectic. Key to overcoming this hurdle for me is using the right software with good spellings correction functions and using the best social-ware -coining this phrase for people who review my texts 😉 Nothing can stop me to spread the thoughts and plans I am passioned about.
Today our article is published and will hit the community!

I am going to find out who the graphic designer behind the prikkel is and question him about the low contrast choices with orange… I love that the magazine is so colourful but I am also disappointed that it can not be properly photographed with a phone camera.
